| The Polish American Cultural Club was founded in 1975 by Bea and Bill Niemiec. The goal
was to get together with others of Polish ancestry to "talk about customs and culture and ways to
preserve our heritage." Since that time, the PACC has expanded to over 100 members and has organized numerous events to educate the public about Polish heritage and culture. The club holds annual bazaars where they promote native Polish crafts, music and food. The Polish American Cultural Club has donated hundreds of books on Polish culture and history as well as Polish American dictionaries to schools and libraries in the city and suburbs. To date, the Polish American Cultural Club has awarded over $105,750.00 in scholarships. |
